my dream come true
I am a lucky man and new member to the forum. So far I have learned so much from these forums, throughout my awesome shopping experience and am proud to welcome a 2001 996 turbo into my garage. This is one amazing car, the car I chose is in amazing condition for its age and still smells new. Most modifications I would have liked to do are already done and the previous owners I spoke to have had nothing but great things to say about the car. Hope to be a fairly regular poster of information and hopefully not problems but even a well loved car will need a fairly high level of maintenance at this age.

Congratulations! I love the wheels. IMO darker wheel colors work really well with silver and lighter paint colors. Your interior options/upgrades ain't too shabby, either!
Drive it in good health.

Thank you carjunky1. The previous owner got the wheels 1 month before I bought it. The titanium wheels with the polished lip really bring the whole look of the exterior together. The interior is awesome painted seatbacks, radio surround, guages and console modernize the interior along with red seatbelts. Only thing im considering adding is the second gear detent to prevent any 2nd gear popout and coilovers along with adjustable toe links since the car is presently lowered on hr springs and wears the inside of rear tires really quickly. Perhaps the bbi slave conversion as well since the clutch is not so easy to get in the morning and accumulator was changed recently.

Welcome! Your close to Chris Green who owns USP Motorsports, great guy and company to set you up for maintenance and or mods. He did my car 5 - 6 years ago, still runs strong and smooth. Enjoy!

Thanks. The previous owner was friendly with Chris from USP. The car actually has a 3 inch usp catless exhaust and they uploaded an EPL 1 bar tune as well. I will have to stop by the shop some time and have a look around. Thanks for the recommendation. If you don't mind me asking, what did you have done?
