I heard that too, but no it's still a awd. It would of lost a tone more then 300lbs and would have had alot more wheel, there was none as you can see in the video.

it's easily converted though. just disconnect the driveline. some people do this specifically to dyno the car on a 2wd dyno. and i think blitz has done it to drift the car.

$50,000 for just the brakes? STFU. Instead of criminals stealing nice wheels, they should target the brakes on the spec V

well, being as they are only going to make 30-40 per month (possibly less) and possibly a limited year run, and not even coming to our shores, i think it will not stay long at global dealerships.

If they dont build many im sure they will sell them, but I would be way more happy with a normal GTR and an extra $100,000 that i could use to buy a 997 turbo or used ferrari etc.

I really dont understand $50,000 brakes. Especially since the ZR1 vette has the same brakes the Enzo ferrari has and they cost $10,000. I just think nissan could have done a lot more and better things with that $ to make a super gtr.
A year from now if they make a spec R for example that has 530hp new aero package etc etc for $100,000 the value of the spec V will tank. and heaven forbid one of the owners has to replace a brake rotor.

well the little spec v badge goes for over $1k. i'm slightly more upset about that. these prices are not an at-cost price, rather a 'it's better if just buy the spec-v instead of putting your own together' price.

it would make sense to discontinue the spec-v (maybe a 2 year run) before releasing the next model up. that would ensure sales of both models.
