Looking to Daily Drive a GTR. Looking for pros/cons
#17
I found a 2012 black edition DBA, it's black on black fully serviced, still have to see if my price is going to be accepted, 7th of January is the day we talk again as they are closed already for the holidays.
My other cars are 996tt with gt30 and mild build engine and trans, 916hp and 1015Nm @2.1bar, and DD i share with my wife an old cayenne turbo 955 with 500hp and a 958 diesel cayenne 240hp also i have for sale one car i really love but have to let it go 335i convertible with fbo and turbo upgrade, i plan to use the gt-r from spring to autumn
Very curious about the feeling of the gtr compared to 996tt, i drove two cba gt-r already but nothing more than 10-15 miles each, also going to try both on a local racetrack near my location, already the 996tt even at wastegate pressure is too powerfull, i guess the gt-r might be a better choice
I plan to transform the 996tt to a better track car tough, might go for bigger displacement to improve throttle and spool at low rpms or even go for gt3 heads to improve red line, not going to chase more power even i might get 50-100hp more
I would use the gt-r as it is for 2-3 days , then FBO for 2015, and later in 2016 going for a 4.1 build with hta3586 or a step bigger, not going to pass 1300-1400hp as i consider this is the maximum power that these cars are still reliable enough, already have a syvecs for the 911, still in the box, unopened... going to switch harness and convert it so syvecs s8 for gt-r, or at least this is what i have in mind as we speak
