New High Octane Gas In Los Altos
#61
Went to the Sunol on 680 toward Livermore about 2 weeks ago to pick some up and only saw 104 or 110 pump, I forgot which. Price was 5.XX/ gal. Can you get between 93 and 100 there because I didn't see it at the pump. Can we get an update on prices at the Woodside station please?

You just saved me from asking. Same here. Not feeling like driving from Rocklin to Watt Ave.

Sorry bout the delay in response....
I've been to that 76 station on Charter and really prefer the one on Sunol for 3 reasons...
Sunol has always been the lowest in price and pumps 91 thru 100
Charter Way is very expensive and is in a scary place in Stockton
Because of the distance round trip it costs about the same to go to either place.
I just had the car reprogrammed for 91 octane so 100 is gonna be the exception and not the norm.

From a pump, or in cans/drums, but if from their pump, it must
go into your own containers, not directly into a road car. It's
the closest to me, so I fill up a 5-gallon container and either
fill it repeatedly and fill my car from it right there, or take the
van and fill 4 5-gallon containers to go... It's not cheap, in
the $7/8 range... I also fill up in Sunol at the Andrade rd.
super station, that has 100, 98, 96 etc from the pump.
If anyone know of 100-octane unleaded nearer to Moraga
than San Lorenzo, do tell!
thanks,
Joe
