Well just joined 6speed. Heard a lot about it on supraforums.com and figured I would join and just check out some local exotics. My dad and I like to attend car meet and such since we both like it. He currently has a 97 Toyota Supra and a 350z. This is the only picture I have of both together.
The Supra is only a non turbo (5 speed) so try not to hate lol. Hopefully I will see some guys out at Captree this year.

i never really understood the point of modding a non-turbo supra.. but hey it looks pretty good anyway.
i would just love to have one period. Turbo preferred but I wouldn't refuse a NA car.

But many people do not know certain things. For 5k I can have a turbo kit running 450 horsepower. So say I paid 19k for this car stock. A t/t would run about 35k-40k for these year and miles and 6 speed. I then have 20k hell I can swap the engine for 10k and put another 10k in and run 600 horsepower. The only big thing holding the non turbos back is the tranny. It holds 450 horsepower. So the money I saved is going into the car. Just waiting for the winter to roll around now for the turbo. There are many na-t's with 500 horsepower plus. Thanks for saying it looks good though.
i guess ive lost that "i can swap this or add this" mentality when it comes to modding... i just want something fast out of the box. no worries tho mate. good luck with it.

Love your outlook and plan!!! I am a modder as well and love taking a car from stock to ridiculous! Sounds good. Car looks amazing.

Haha Thanks guys. Whenever you are on boards like this it is either hit or miss when you mod cars with a body kit or hood if people would like it. Thanks for the warm welcome. It wasn't about having a twin turbo or a fast car it was about getting the most car that I can for my money. See you around.

We can relate on something here, it was so difficult to justify spending the money when I bought my Nismo 350z and the determining factor was the insurance I was paying that made me sell it. Now that I bought something practical in the mean time it's been really hard to decide which car will give me the best bang for the buck when I'm ready again.
For the Nismo I honestly do not know to much about. I just know it is the "Best Handling Z" You pay for the name and all that. I am sure you could have pocketed the extra money and did some suspension work and some little engine things and had the same car and you could have picked your own exterior kit. I love the G37 and I would recommend that if you are looking for something else. 4 seats and a much better ride then the z and much faster. I also like the 6 speed and clutch better in the G
that red bs is downright nasty...one of the best i've seen to date, best red one by far
+1!!!!!!
