Pacific Raceways Kart Track is Open
I had a chance to look at the new kart track at Pacific Raceways the other day. Very nice facility and its not even finished yet. I know of a couple who have already been on it and said its awesome. Below is a link that has a video of someone running the track to get a feel of what its like. Sounds fun!! I'd like to try this out! I think it might be similar to driving my Boxster. Haha! Mine is just an oversized go-kart!

you guys pick a day, and if there is enough notice, i'm in! this will be a blast! i didn't read the whole info page on the karting, but i wonder how many of us can be on the track at the same time? this would make for some great pictures!

Just talked to the them and they are open this weekend but not advertising yet in order to keep crowds down until they have the grand opening. Its $25/15min and only need to sign a waiver. The shifter karts will not be there for about four weeks. They require that you go through some instruction with them on the current karts prior to doing the shifters too.
