Nice my dad had a 1968 Chevy Camaro SS396 325 with the 4 speed manual. then he turned it in for a 1970 Volvo 142e... I have to ask on your 69 did you ever have any problems of the linkage locking in a gear where you could not get it out?

it just spent a month almost in the shop waiting on new linkage funny you ask..for this reason...the parts aren't always available I guess. old cars are a new thing for me so I guess I'll get used to waiting when something goes wrong.
I'd like to see the machine the 68 Camaro went into to become a 70 Volvo on the other side. Time Machine?
When my dad told me that i asked flat out what was he smoking... He told me it was Volvo's sports car... yeah my dad's 68 and my friends 70 both had trouble of the linkage sticking in reverse ... I was in my friends 70 Camaro and that happened to use in walla walla Kmart parking lot. Ended up driving back to is place witch was 2 miles in reverse to go jack the thing up to pop it out of gear..
I met traded it in.
