Screw transport trucks, I am DRIVING!!

What the heck was I thinking...? Havin the NEW LP550-2 SHIPPED up on a warm cozy enclosed truck from San Fran to Seattle...

Last nite, I decided, like my TAG says, "I need to drive it the way it was meant to be driven".

So today, Wednesday, getting in the LP670-4SV, headn out to Portland from Seattle, spend the nite there, (real GOOD "Elf" hunting grounds-Strp clubs). Then Thursday on down to Grants Pass, cross over onto the 101. Will stay somewhere in "Marjiuana Capitol" of the USA, Humbolt County. Probably the only place in the US you can get "High" just driving down the street with your window open! LOL LOL

Then on to San Fran, spend Friday nite. Saturday drop my SV at Lambo San Fran for 5K service..Yes I drive my cars, Pick up the 550-2, (have the SV trucked back to Seattle when done...or maybe fly down and drive it back) then on to Gilroy and IN-and-OUT Burger "here I come". Stay the nite in Gilroy and play with some of my other toys under "construction" at Steve's shop

Sunday, up bright and early and off to Seattle in the 550-2 to "Break" her in. Stay Sunday nite at 7 Feathers Casino in Central Oregon, (maybe win some cost of the 550-2 back..or double it's cost LOL). Monday, rest of the 1000 mile journey back to Seattle...should be a great break in period.

So, I have my "needed" items and I am off soon, toothbrush, 3 shirts and Speed trap detection device.

YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I love to read about your cars driven all over the west coast this way. Well done! Please try to get any photos of you hitting the fast food drive-thrus.

Roy, photojournalism and frequent updates are mandatory. Enjoy the drive and when you get between Eugene and Salem, drive it like you stole it!

AWH, I want to touch it! and you will be going right past me! lol

Near Salem, OR, watch out for a dark gray '10 mustang and a '08 white mustang with gray strips. The one with gray strips is a dick and will pull you over for going a hair over the speed limit... he writes a ticket every 10 minutes.

edit:

....just noticed this. Why doesn't your SV have a wing? I remember the orange SV having a wing....

Sounds like a lot of fun Roy! Drive through Avenue of the Giants and get some pics! I've done that same drive about five or six times this year already and what a great time! I envy you on this one! Some of those Elfs are a bit nasty so I suggest you triple bag.
