Look who stopped by for some H2O International prep work! Stop by the APR Booth this weekend to see this glorious B7 RS4 along with a few other beauties from your friends at RSW! Some of the team will be heading down to Ocean City today, but the Shop will be OPEN all day tomorrow (Friday)

 

Looks like its going to be a transmission rebuild type of week. Also in the assembly lab is a B5 S4 01E for full rebuild!



The B7 RS4 transmission has been torn down, and the problematic components have been identified, new pieces from Germany now en-route!



This Maserati Quattroporte is in the shop today for a complete Alignment & Corner Balancing service on our Hunter Engineering Company Corporate Hawk Eye Alignment System!





The lab is busy this week, Audi V8 cylinder heads getting torn down and ready for a dip into the hot tank before the fresh rebuild!



It's great seeing the local avid track going PCA members bringing there Porsche's into the shop! This Cayman is in for a few repairs before an up-coming event!





D2 S8 in the shop today for initial inspection after a shredded timing belt! Time to get our digital borescope out and inspect the level of internal damage!

S Class Mercedes Benz made a visit to the shop today for a spark plug replacement, as well as complimentary vehicle inspection!



After a bit of tear down we found the issue with the Maserati Grand Coupe. Internal bearings to the Torque Tube have ceased to operate smoothly to say the least . . .

 

Happy Friday! This AM starts off with a bit of re-assembly in the lab!





The Service Team here at RSW has just completed yet another APR, LLC. Stage 3 Golf R complete with the latest APR Low Pressure Fueling System & Tuning! We are positive the owner is going to be very happy with his new found HP!







With the last track event on the calendar for this Porsche Cayman now complete, it's already time to start prepping for next season! First item on the list new rear wheel bearings!



This beautiful BMW X5M is back for more upgrades this AM!



This APR Stage 3 GTI we built for a customer a few years ago. The owner then sold the VW to another customer of ours, and we are glad to see it back in the shop for service!

 

The next project in the assembly lab, installation of a complete DSG differential upgrade!







Looks like the B5 RS4 Conversion is getting its rear end upgraded . . .



After just finishing up a B7 S4 Timing Chain & Cylinder Head Rebuild, the NEXT B7 S4 is in the shop for engine tear down to correct an oil consumption issue.



A look into the other side of the LAB this AM: 2.7T Cylinder head(s) getting new exhaust camshafts, exhaust valves, and hydraulic lifters!

After a fresh set of Michelin's were Mounted & Road Force Balanced it's time to give this Q5 a complete four wheel alignment!

Time for some Vanos repairs on this E90 BMW!



Well that escalated quickly. The V8 engine from the B7 S4 has been torn down and the culprit(s) have been identified.



Beautiful B8 S4 in the shop today for a bit of winter preparations. The Service Team is removing the customers "track" brake pad setup, and re-installing a new set of OEM Audi pads. While the vehicle is in the shop we are also preforming a complimentary inspection to ensure no other issues arise over the coming months!



This R Line VW Tiguan is paying us a visit for a complete 4 wheel alignment to ensure proper handling, steering, and tire wear!

Continued progression on the MINI project! In addition to the turbocharger upgrade on the MINI the RSW Service Team is also adding an upgraded external oil cooler system!

Looks like another 4.2L V8 Chain Driven S4 just got dropped off, this one came in many boxes! We now currently have (4) of these engines here at the shop for various levels of repair!



S63 AMG Mercedes Benz in the shop this morning. The owner is getting all of its' service needs completed prior to the impending winter weather coming later this week and the AMG being put away for the winter!





VW CC in for an APR ECU Upgrade, taking advantage before the end of the Fall Sale!



A Brand new M4 is in the shop for the first round of goodies...more on this later.

 

Our first BMW M3/M4 Project has begun. The owner took delivery of the vehicle last week, and without any delay brought the vehicle into the shop for its first round of upgrades.

This Alpine White Fully optioned M4 is a great starting point for what we have planned . . .



The RSW Service Team first got to work installing the complete compliment of IND Cosmetic Upgrades.

First up are the F8x M3 / M4 Painted Side Vents



Next Gloss Black Front Grill Set



Color Matched Front Reflectors





The owner was also explaining he was experiencing a high speed shake in the M4, the Service Team suggested putting all the 19" BMW OE wheels on our Hunter Road Force Balancer and checking them to ensure they are all within spec. We found 3 of the 4 wheels to be quite out of balance. Back on the M4, and road test later the problem was resolved.
