Can't put that here
Just a few questions for any current S2000 owners. Do any of you guys DD your cars? How bout in an area like Pennsylvania/New York in the winter? I've read a lot of threads on S2Ki about being ok in the snow with snow tires and a hardtop, looking for more opinions. Also this would be my only car so I have some cargo space concerns. At the most I would have to fit my hockey equipment and a stick or two or a couple bags for weekend trips. Being young and I figure now's the time to own a car like this! Thanks for any advice.

I DD my S2K, but being in AZ we don't have much of a winter. If you have to pack more than a back pack I recommend looking at a different car. The S2K is not very practical.

I DD mine in St Louis, but my wife has a CR-V for more daily stuff. I use Blizzaks
in the winter but it still is a little dicey (unless there's about 5inches of snow and the streets quiet, then it's drift city baby!).
If it is going to be your ONLY car, then it will be very impractical indeed.
Have to agree.....its not very practical. I live in eastern NC with "mild" winters and here at the beach we are lucky to see snow flurries. I drove up to PA one winter in the S...and man it was an adventure. Nearly slide off a "cliff" on I84 in some icy conditions, I wouldn't recommend this car for the winter....and as far as space...well there just is none.
Thanks for the responses guys. I won't be purchasing for another 6-7 months, but starting my research early. I'm caught between an S2K and an STI. Both cars are awesome, but obviously very different from each other. The other option I considered was grabbing an older S2K, and picking up an old Legacy hatch or an Accord for daily duties/winter beater.
