The Evo looks very impressive Todd. I've been following many of your builds among the various forums over the years. It's comforting to see enthusiasts, such as yourself, take this 'obsessively compulsive' hobby to another level. Again, very impressive.
I actually like the genuine Chargespeed kit. The kit in total is over $7000 without paint so it's actually a very nice piece.
Trust me, I'm not here to bash on your kit, but to anybody that has the knowledge in JDM aeros, they would know that the comparison of Charge Speed with other companies that also makes aero kit for the Evo (such as Varis, Voltex, Zero Sport, Syms...etc), Charge Speed's rep is comparable as to Rieger compared with Oettinger/Projetzwo/ABT..etc; Charge Speed's fitment is great, but its design and reputation is not proven as much (not much on track or even wind tunnel like Voltex & others), as it is focus mainly on aesthetic styling (which it does not bad of a job on the newer releases).
As for pricing, over $7k? you gotta be kidding me, Versus Motorsport aka Charge Speed USA sells them for under $2k, and even a retailer like THIS ONE sells it for just $1671.99. The term of "you get what you paid for" should apply to msrp in this case, and you should not goto the person whom quoted you $7k+ anymore to buy parts; but I'm not blamming you for the lack of understanding in its pricing since the kit came with the car you bought as-is right?
PM me if you need help on sourcing, I hate to see a fellow 6speeder pay more than what it's really worth, definately not by the scale of what just mentioned above.

It's actually the whole kit. Carbon hood, carbon trunk, fenders, skirts, diffuser, bumper, vortex generator, etc....you can get the base Type 2 kit for just under $3000 without the $1400 hood, $650 generator, $800 trunk, + $500 fenders. The entire kit was carbon fiber except the front bumper. I just decided to paint the whole thing. I'm sure you could source it for less, as with just about everything, but retail on the entire kit as installed is near $7000 before shipping, painting, and install.

Total Internet Retail of above = $2468.34 USD
Above Internet Retail Total + 4 piece Charge Speed Kit Internet Retail listed previously ($1671.99) = $4140.33 USD
Now, those pricing definately isn't the best because I personally have imported that whole kit from a friend for a friend, but it's not far off (when including the in-land shipping, because #'s from those sites already includes the shipping cost from Japan, or Versus aka Charge Speed USA in SoCal, to their inventory).
Again, not bashing the kit, I'm glad you like it because that's what is important; but they're definately not worth $7k (price & quality) simply because they don't even retail that high, $3k off is pretty off. I wish I've my scanner working right now so I can scan you a copy of the original Charge Speed catalog that has the pricing in Yens.
Anyways, I like what you did to the car with everything else, the stealth look really sets it off to be different than other evo's, it's just IMHO that the car deserves a higher quality/rep aero to match the rest of the top-notch stuff under the hood.

I'm going to commission you to price shop next time I build something.
I just like to help people that share the similar vision upon building a car, especially the style that I can appreciate, and trust me that I really do!
