I just got back from PBRI and saw a Rotary do 7.4 secs in the 1/4.... Holy Moly

Also got to see a lot of great looking 2nd and 3rd gens... I need to get my car on the road!

Congrats on the purchase. I have a montego blue 3rd gen also. Are you still planning on fitting 19x11+11 wheels in the rear? Im trying to decide if I want to keep mine or try to sell it and get into a 996 turbo. Good luck with your build. Make sure you have a really good rotary specific tuner, consider running water injection and keep her cool(upgraded oil coolers, ic and radiator) and you should have a nice solid car.

very nice RX7....which coilovers and wheel offset/size are you running? your stance is exactly what i want.

BTW, if you do end up selling the car, would you consider selling the wheels?

Thanks, the coilovers are Stance gr+ and the wheels are ssr professor sp1's 18x9+37 front and 18x10+24 rear. Ive already had a few people tell me they want the wheels if I ever change them or sell them.

If you have any questions about upgrades feel free to PM me or ask on here I have built a few 400+ rx7's 3rd gen and 2nd. They are great cars and not as scary as everyone thinks. The premix is overkill. Your Jspec engine should really be rebuilt before dropping in. You never know if the coolant seals are any good. My cosmo motor had sat too long and had I run it that way I would done more damage and ruined a lot of parts.
Car is beautiful set it up correctly and they are tons of fun. One of my favorites of all time.

Damn, where can I find in shape RX7's like you guys'. Everywhere I look its a trashed one or some jalopy EXTREME RICED out POS, and I've been looking off and on for a few years.

Took me over a year to find a clean 3rd Gen one owner car. I just dropped mine to $20,000.00 as I have not been able to drive it much lately.Its on autotrader.com and I added some interior pics if you are still looking.
