Ahhhh.... working on clean cars is so nice. This thing looks amazing Jared - Any clue how much boost you're planning on running yet?
Congrats and I'm definately subscribed. I'm a big fan of keeping that stock look but better.
Thanks Jeremy. That means so much coming from you. You're right. It's a whole-nuther ball game when everything is taken off the unibody, made perfect, and built back. This experience of working on something so clean is eye opening and addictive.
I'm already thinking about what I'm going to build next. Maybe a 71 Buick GS.

Oh, Jeremy. Sorry. It's intended to be set at 14.5psi (1 bar) before dyno tuning. It's a Garrett GT3071R with a .63a/r housing. This will allow for quicker spooling and less lag (we hope!)

Wow great work and nostalgic but it's unfortunate now I feel old I thnk I owned about all the chevy SS's along with with my first 1972 datsun wagon back then which I turbo-ed and promptly blew up they did not have much in the way of intercooling back then. I am glad to see your are spending the time and effort to do it right..I think there's a lesson to be learned here...darn forgot what it was .
Great work!, I love to see old school cars with new age power plants, like the rocky auto cars from Japan. Can't wait to see it done. Love the color too.

If you are one of the guys that Jared has told me about I can tell you he is a guru of the appropirate mods to his cars. His 997 has spent more time with me (happily babysitting during his move) and there cannot be a better one in the U.S. I had a 996 GT3 and his car is more wicked than my GT3 was, YOU will not be disappointed.
