Maybe I have to see one in person but so far I am very very unimpressed.
That's what I was thinking re the Cayenne. It looks like an attempt to get that styling into a smaller version. This is a good example of why I will not likely own a Porsche built after 1998.

I agree, in part but I don't think the renderings at the beginning of this thread accurately reflect the actual shape of the car. Looking closely at actual spy photos with disguises on the car, the rear appears much more graceful compared to the choppy, almost wagon-like rear shown in the renderings (see spy photos below).

You're right that the 911 style didn't translate too well when they grafted a 911-like nose onto a tall boxy truck (a/k/a Cayenne), but it could be made to work quite well in the case of a low, sleek sedan. It all depends on how much interior space Porsche wants to compromise for ther Panamera to look sleek. But in the photos below, though hard to tell with the disguise, it looks as if they got it pretty much right.

Hmmmm, to me it looks like a hybrid of a bloated A3 + dodge Magnum + Cayenne + 911. Whew, I think I don't like the renderings so far.

It doesn't look like a Porsche at all. Let's hope the production version will be more aesthetically pleasing.

Don't like it at all. As one of the other contributors said; if they can kill it, they should!
