Not to worry about the latte, that is a Tip, it takes just a slight touch to change gears in manual mode also you can control it thru the steering wheel, this is just another BMW type thinking on their big cars, hope not!! cheers, Sonny.

It's a mockup I guess, hope it turns out nicer in reality.

Based on that rear shot it looks like they are making a 4 seater cayman.

Well, as happened in the pre-Cayenne release days there were almost no supporters. However it is a success (I don't have one by the way) by any measure. I think this could be a winner as well, given Porsche's relatively modest production goals for a car maker. And if it makes them stronger, maybe they'll more GT3RS type versions in the future.
Besides as father time ingratiates himself further into your body you might well appreciate the sedan.
I like it............room for the clubs in the hatch as well.

I'm still hopeful the final product will look good. It's like the hype with the Nissan GTR, some of the spy shots were horrible, but it turned out to be a real stunner in person.
For Porsche' sake lets hope it comes together.

I have no issue with Porsche building an AARP special 4-door and not of the opinion it is brand dilution, however, if it even remotely has any similance to the mules it will be a failure. I look forward to eating my hat and it turning out to be a stunner, but I do not see it happening. I too could find use in a 4 door but for the same reasons I passed on the Cayenne when purchasing an SUV I will probably pass on the Panamera when re-upping on the 4-door. It just does not "feel" right. Not hating on P-brand, it is just that while I love what they do for performance cars, can't say the same on the need, like all other manufacturers, to fill every nich.

The spy pics so far for this vehicle are just plain ugly.

Guys it will look good. It will be allot like Mercedes CLS and if its anything like it im all over it. When the CLS spy shots came out everyone was like WTF is that. CLS really made non Mercedes owners look again.

Breaking news.....from a friend whose is an employee of Porsche in Germany, the Panamera will utilize the latest generation F1/Le Mans Prototype gearbox mated to a revamped Flux Capicitor previously only dreamed of by Porschefiles. Seriously, I find it hard to believe that I am going to be impressed by this thing, the only caveat being the carrera gt engine mated to a floppy box w/ styling not telegraphed in the slightest from the mules. Time will tell.
