The rear of the car screams Pontiac Grand Am. That is not a good thing.

that looks like a modern 4 door version of the venerable AMC Pacer. A bit squished and stretched. i would not buy this.

This car is weird. I dont like it, but somehow want one.
It doesnt flow well, front 1/3 looks out of place. I'd like to see those headlights on the 998. I'm sick of Porsche and their retro garbage on the 911's. Freakin change something at least.

Here in the states, auto companies drive concept cars around in local cities to see what the consumer reaction is to the vehicle. Perhaps thats what Porsche is doing with the Panamera. But I really hope they fix that rear end. It looks like a hippos butt.

have to agree with most of you it is truly ugly. I bet it drives great. But this does a disservice to the Porsche brand IMHO.

I can't stand the look of it either. If they are going to do a family oriented car, they need to make it into a car, not a station wagon. I'm sure it would drive beautifully, but looks, people. The look of that car is no good at all. I'm very unimpressed. There was another video that stated there would possibly be a 500 horsepower version of this car as well, but that begs the question, how much will it weigh? It isn't a sports car, an exotic, or a hyper car, so weight will be drastically higher than any 911.
Having said all that, I'm sure it would make for an amazing family car, but I doubt I'd ever even consider one (if I could afford one to begin with). |

This looks like something to compete with the soon to be released BMW 6 series crossover. It looks horrible in my opinion. I will reserve judgement until I see the final product in the metal. I hope it is different that this. The rear is really ugly. My guess is that the good looks/ bad looks will be very color specific which is not the case with other Porsche products except for a couple of Cayenne colors which are pretty awful.

I'll wait for the coupe being based on the same platform, the next 928. Sounds good in the vid.

Though it's ugly, I'm sure there are still people buying it because it's PORSCHE

My sentiments exactly. But I wasn't a big fan of the e92 either, UNTIL I saw it in person!
