I don't see much point in putting down a deposit when the price is unknown. Plus, with production around 9 months away, in this economy, why give a deposit to a dealer who might go out of business before your car comes in?

this is just my opinion, but I've yet to see a panamera pic that doesnt make me throw up in my mouth LOL. how can anyone desire this car?

its possible the thing will grow on me.. but its going to take a lot longer than it took for me to like the bangleized bimmers or the first cayenne.

I have had a deposit on one for a very long time now so I am pretty high up on the list. I am in the process of getting my deposit back.

Is that because you've decided you don't like its looks, based on the official photos?

I still don't like the Bangle-ized BMWs. Have you seen the 2009 7-series? It looks the way BMWs used to look before Chris Bangle started styling them -- much better.

I have two clients that have put their deposits down. I think this will be a very cool car. The Cayenne wasn't all that loved when it came out, but Porsche knows what it's doing in my opinion. If you own a carrera or cayenne now, and drive a BMW or Mercedes sedan, wouldn't make sense to own the panamera instead of the other sedans? I know I would.
