Used to think it was fugly but finally saw it in person and it looked pretty sweet. One big problem though: IT'S EFFIN HUUUUUGE!!!! Seemed bigger than the S series or the LS series.
My dad will like it, I'll stick with the smaller sports car lineup thank you.

am not sure as I have never seen one before... however if i were to buy a Sedan, it would be hard deciding between this and the Bentley Continental, I think i'd go for the B every time...
The latest issue of Automobile discusses Porsche failed attempt to takeover VW. They also say that the Cayene is getting axed. The Panamera would have been axed if they had not been so far into it. Sales will ultimately tell the tale.
I saw a Panamera S today on display at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Las Vegas. It does have a large visual presence even if the dimensions are smaller than a 7 Series BMW, particularly the extra width. But it does look better in person than in photos and the interior is very nicely done. I'm still not sold on the rear end treatment, it just sort of drops off to nothing. Overall it is nice, my wife thought it was great and she is quite fussy about cars. The price, with options, $123k.

remember when the Cayenne first came out, everybody blasted it and said it was ugly, why did they try to compete in this field, yada yada yada, then over time it has proved itself to be a true sport suv, well now it's Panamera's time, I may look into them next year?? still enjoy my CTT every day

Thats what I think, I've seen it, and the rear just ruins it for me. It's like a hunchback in the rear, I know they went for the more coupe look with hatch, but didn't pull it off well imo. They should have done a normal type trunk area but agressive looking.
