R&T just tested the Panamera Turbo and got 911 Turbo numbers. And it gets good gas mileage. And it has a big back seat. And it costs 50K less than an S65 AMG. And (hopefully) it will be more trouble-free than Aston and Maserati. And it looks funny from some angles...just like all Porsches. Love it!! I drove the 4S on Saturday and was impressed. I'm almost afraid to drive the Turbo because I don't want to test my lack of willpower. Maybe I should tell the bank to freeze my accounts.

We just received the December 2009 Car and Driver which contains a Panamera Turbo Review.
Highs: Scary fast, Bentleyesque interior, as visceral as an abattior.
Lows: Bizarre shape, poor rearward view, base price of $133,395.
The Verdict: More 911 Turbo than a luxury sedan. But, hey, is that a bad thing?
"On at least three points, our drivers reached consensus. First, the Panamera is the spiritual successor to the 928 in the way that Christopher Buckley is the spiritual successor to W. F. B., Jr.: related in name but not so much in philosophical purpose. Second, the Panamera is handsome from a front three-quarter view but otherwise is an ovoidial festival of lava-lamp lumps. Third -- and most crucial -- this isn't a luxosedan. It's luxurious, oh, God, yes, is it ever. But it's a sports car that happens to have two roomy rear seats. No BMW 7-series or Benz S-class is as gutsy, as connected, as prejudiced toward instant-gratification agility and white-hot velocity. So you might call it a "tweener". You might call it wonderful."
WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!.....Thats extremely impressive, just wished looked better....Man thats moving!!! Fu*k!!

Wish it looked better as well. I like these numbers better as it tells us what to expect of the 928 which should be even better. As a four door this thing moves. The only other 4 door one can buy thats faster is the Hennesey CTS-V700 . Same 1/4 mile time but through the trap at 128 mph. [Also the CTS-V had the lap record at the Ring. 7.59.32] Panam is 7.59 smack on. This is moving! If they can get this going that quick I'm sure the 928 will just kick. Hopefully its prettier.
wut do u think? not that I can afford one. 77 made world wide... wonder if that come with a full time technician 24/7 at your service ; D
What do I think? Look at it. Its an amazing automobile and I'm amazed it even exists at all. Who builds something like this today in such small numbers. No other company has done this. But your right about a technician. Who will work on this thing. Almost everything is unique to these cars. We'll never see them. They'll disapear and show up years from now with zero miles at Pebble Beach.
