2012 Panamera S - Transmission gone after 30 miles

+1 kip ^.
Some of the responses ITT are downright comical. "Negotiate a Turbo or lawyer up"? "Willing to replace the transmission"? "CARFAX"??
It's under warranty guys, get a grip.
OP: Sorry to hear - that really takes the wind out of your sails when getting a new car. Hopefully PNA can make you forget this happened. Sounds like they intend to make you happy if they're offering incentives! If you're going to swing for the fences, at least ask for the GT3 cup experience school

So I am wondering. Would the leasing company pull a Carfax at the end of the lease to see what if any accidents etc you would have accumulated and DING you for the transmission change if they would consider this to be an issue reducing the resale value of that car?? I am thinking Leasing companies too have some Lawyers that make a living..

If it was a lease I wouldnt give a rat's ***. This is the only reason I would consider leasing this car.
No at the end of the lease, even if the car had everything replaced at the mechanic next to your house, they should not charge you anything extra. If you have dings, scratches, wear and tear, then yes. Not because you got a new engine, or transmission, or windshiled for that matter.
It runs, its theirs.

PDKs occasionally fail, not often, but occasionally. If you're under a CPO program you're good to go. Swap the tranny. Pay nothing. Get incentive package...maybe ask for free service for 2 years? How long is your lease?
Or- get $2k discount on your next Porsche.
PDK's can be swapped and you'll be good to go.
