How to remove tail light?

I need to remove one of the tail light assembly in order to do a simple adjustment on the alignment of my rear bumper. I removed the 2 torx screws next to the tail lights, but the tail light is solid as a rock. Any ideas? I don't want to go to the dealer for a simple thing like this, once I am able to remove the tail light the bumper adjustment should be easy.

I'm sure the parts department at Porsche could show you via an exploded diagram...

I was just watching the Nat Geo video on YouTube about the Panamera factory in Leipzig. Almost to the end of the video it shows the assembly techs removing the tail light assembly to make an adjustment. They had the hatch open and were going in from the cargo area with screws to the side of the light assembly. Sounds like what you described that you had already tried.

ok, I figured it out.
I initially removed the two screws under the caps when you open the hatch. But that was wrong.
The screws holding the tail light are under the cover inside the trunk. Once I removed those, the light came right out.

teutonic GT2, I know this is an old thread, would you explain what you meant by removing the cover in the trunk, what cover were you referring to?
