Did you check and make sure there is power to the clock? Did you test the clock before you installed it?

Hi guys,

Anyone got any updates on the mod? Intends to get it done. I've checked with my Porsche dealer, the center dash panel alone is $350!

Has anyone tried using 3585, which is a better fit for the panel?

3585 does not have LED backlighting. My 3685's LED backlights match the factory white backlights perfectly.

Is the price of $350 expensive for the cover?

I managed to find this ring on taobao:

Unfortunately, only red color

I know it's an older thread, but I am getting ready to add the dash clock to my Panamera. Just figured I would try and add to it if it works out positively.

Here's where I am so far -

I got my harness from Porsche today $38.00 with PCA discount.
My clock is on it way, found a new one on Ebay for $100 shipped.
Clock housing for the dash Ebay $100 shipped

I am getting my information from https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-...harness-5.html this is the Cayenne forum so who knows if I am wasting my time or not. If the wiring is different I maybe out of luck.

Update 11/8/19 -

I did the install today, took 2 hours. The hardest part is removing the a/c vents for sure. I removed the trim from the vents and it made it a lot easier to see the clips. The passenger side vent is the easiest to start with, be patient. I removed the passenger side black (in my car) front dash panel first.

I trimmed down the factory harness to use only the clock wires, I also extended them in case I needed the extra length.

As soon as I turn the key on it recognized the clock, working perfectly.

Harness - Part# 981-612-692-00
