2015 Panamera 4S or GTS, a few pre-purchase questions.

That would make sense and I certainly could have read it wrong. Quote:
I have a 2013 Panamera GTS. Bought 2013 over the 2014 to avoid the turbo lag issue.
Either way all good. Enjoy!!

And I noticed: you look at performance between the new 4s and GTS and it's basically a wash. GTS slight edge.

To greatly improve the ride, take the tire pressure down to 36psi. If you're not routinely driving 100 mph plus, you don't need the 40+psi numbers that the dealers use. I believe the default tire pressure alarm is the 'performance' setting. You can change it to 'comfort' and drop the pressure significantly.
When you stating 36psi you mean tire cold or tire warm? What model porsche do you own? Thanks

Don't any of you folks read or even look in the owners manuals?
There is a great app for IPad called "Good to know" that has the owners manual and a host of videos for your car.

Check your pressures before you leave the house. If you don't have a home air compressor, you'll at least know how much needs to be added. When you get to the nearest air pump, add the amount you derived at home. If you haven't got a pressure gauge, buy one. You can get a very accurate digital gauge for under $20 at any auto parts store.
....lecture finished.

My '16 GTS is very comfortable. I have taken 2 long trips so far (3-4 hrs each) and was very fresh after arriving. I drove in standard mode with tire pressure at 38 psi (all season tires). I leave the exhaust set to sport since I love the growling sound. With the current N/A V8, there is no lag. I have a feeling the 2017 model will have a V6 turbo. My prior 2013 Panny S was a hybrid and the suspension in std mode set on both felt the same.

I find your comments about the rough suspension of the GTS puzzling. If I'm going over bad roads (and I think we have even worse roads on average here in Northern California) I put the suspension in its softest setting. The car glides over them extremely comfortably. Perhaps it's a tire or tire pressure issue? I've also found that I get virtually no driver fatigue over long distances. Getting out of the car after several hours of driving feels like I just got up from my living room couch. Even after 11 hours straight (with two short stops for gas/food) I found the car completely comfortable.
Guess it is a question of perspective: I came from a 911S and find my GTS very cushiony and comfy, but you drive any Towncar over the same roads and the GTS feels rough!
Fatigue: no issues at all. I did a one day turnaround Vegas to LA, about 550miles in 10hours (LA traffic jams suck) and no issues at all, neither back nor general exhaustion.
