Hey fellas whats up? I am new to the forum and am looking for a little assistance. Heres the situation. My camshaft cracked in half and the shop has had my panamera for about two months claiming that they are looking for an engine to replace it. Is there anyone out there tha has or knows where to find a used engine for a 2011 v6 panamera? I think they are just trying to bleed me for more cash and wasting my time. Thanks guys

 

So a failed cam destroyed the engine ?? If the valves and pistons collided on the broken cam why don't they replace those damaged components ? Is the engine a high mileage unit?

 

Have to make sure who you're buying from but there are a few on Ebay.

Where is FL? What shop? I assume they are requesting an entire engine because the cam took out other major components?
