Multifunction display resets

Hi.

On my PGTS I have noticed that the settings for the multifunction display kind of resets itself including the chrono clock setup.

It have happened now 3 times over the last 6 month, and I can't figure out why. All of a sudden it just jumps back to default setting and shows 3 lines and the chrono clock stops showing the time. I can then select everything again and all works.

Any good ideas or suggestions?

Maybe the battery is failing? Or requires a software update?

I don't think it has anything to do with the battery. It has once happened during drive.
