wiper movement question

Does anyone s wipers move about 1/8 inch shortly after startup sometimes. Seems more like when the car sits for longer than a few hours? They just move up 1/8 inch and then back, strange. I always notice the passengers side as they sit up higher than the drivers wiper.

Mine do as well, and at times, I've even used them just to ensure they reset properly...its an odd side effect but I notice it every single time I start the car

You probably have your wiper in the "rain sensor/intermittent mode" (see page 101 of the manual - here http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf...amera_PCNA.pdf)

If you turn your wipers to the Off position, you should not see that movement when you start the car.
