Wheel Offset Question

I am looking at a set of 20" wheels and I am being told they will fit my 2012 Panamera.

My question is, they have an offset of ET55 but I am seeing most oem 20" wheels are ET65. Will the ET55 offset work on my car?

Thanks in advance!

It would depend on the width of the wheels. The new wheels will be 10mm closer to the strut and may not fit if they are 9 or 9.5" wide. If they are 8" they may barely fit. I would see if you can test them on to check.

I believe this what I have on my car now.

Wheel Dimensions:
9 x 19" - 60 mm
10 x 19" - 61 mm

Suncoast offers 20's for my car with these dimensions

Wheel Dimensions:
9.5 x 20" - 65 mm
11.5 x 20" - 63 mm

Would I be correct to assume that if I buy the wheels that are ET55, I am going to need spacers?

The 55 will be more aggressive than the 65, the lower the number the more pushed out the wheels will be, not the other way around. What are the widths of the +55 you are looking at though?

Yeah those should fit fine. Even tirerack.com, who will only show very safe offsets, even has a 21x9.5 +55 listed.

As we know Panny TurboS OEM 20'' wheels has these dimensions:

front:
9,5 J x 20 ET 65 (225/40 R20 summer/winter tires)

rear:
11,5 J x 20'' ET63 (295/35 R20 summer tires)
or
11,0 J x 20'' ET68 (295/35 R20 summer tires)
or
10,5 J x 20'' ET65 (285/35 R20 winter tires)

QUESTION regarding fitment of these dimension wheels:

front:
9,5 J x 20'' ET40 (225/40 R20 tires)
rear:
11,0 J x 20'' ET40 (285/35 R20 tires)

I'm very worried that offset is too much and wheels will be too much out of arches and there is no chance to check fitment before ordering ...

I will be appreciated for any thoughts . Thanks in advance.
