Is this a good deal on a 2016 Panamera GTS?

There was a GTS at a Florida dealer that was even discounted more. I can't find it for the life of me but I actually contemplated getting it as the deal was even better than this one. I tried searching for like 30 minutes and then gave up so I could share the link. It was silver. And if memory serves it was like a $130 msrp and they advertising for like 87, 89 or something. Had like 200 miles so it was new but probably a GM car.
Regardless I would shop around and even if you buy out of state, who cares. Deals can be had on the remaining 2016. Once the first 17 hits the new and used values will plummet even more.

Huh? $60k off a new 2016??? Maybe that much off a 2015 new Turbo.
$88k sounds pretty darn good to me. Take MSRP of it when new, knock off $25k right off the top and see where you are.

Because they depreciate quite a bit!!
What's the money factor on these puppies?

My Panny Turbo or GTS rule of thumb is: for a 2016 CPO, take MSRP (let's be easy here and say $120k, which would be very lightly optioned), subtract $25k ...$95k. Remember they supposedly put a little money into a car to Certify it. (I'm assuming $5k markup).
Anything less than $95k on a lightly optioned one should get you approximately close. Considering new body styles are coming out, you might get another $5-10k off depending on mileage/options.

16 Panny's are a plenty and dealers can't get rid of them.

Update on looking at 2016 Panamera GTS
All,
I was just informed that the 2016 GTS that I had been looking at in Utah has just been sold to someone in the Bay area. I have been trying to purchase it for around $84k and was about $4k off from what the dealer was asking. I am bummed but will feel in a day or two that I made the correct choice. Based on a lot of feedback from this forum I feel confident (hopefully not false confidence) that better deals are on the horizon given the release of the 17's that will be happening in the Spring. Hopefully current owners will be discounting their cars as they get into a new Turbo or 4S.
Thank you for your advice on waiting...although I lost this car I feel that I made the correct decision to try for more of a discount in the near future. I will keep you up-to-date on my adventure here...with pictures once I buy!
All the best,
Dave

This one is now offered at $108k - so $18k under for a new one. You might be able to get them to $105k.
When I bought my Panny Turbo in late 2014 I got it new for $30k off. GTS probably not as much leeway. I'd consider getting one for $18k-$20k off at new as a victory!

Just spoke with a sales manager at the dealer in Miami "the collection". They have all the remaining 2016 panamera's on their website listed at 20% off MSRP. When I spoke with him personally, his exact words were that getting rid of these 2016's were a priority and he will mark them down to 25% off if someone wants one right now.
If your in the market, you can get a killer deal here.

Thank you for the heads-up with The Collection in Miami. I reached out to them on one particular car that the steeply discounted. My issue is, and probably only mine, is why pay $100k for a 2016 when you can pay 20% more and get an entirely new Panamera (2017 4S). That is a dilemma for me to overcome...if they discount further, or when they do, I can be a buyer. I live in Northern California so I would need to ship the car here...willing to do that but must be taken into consideration when I buy so far away. Thanks again for your help with this...still interested to purchase right away but daily discounting of thees cars is fascinating to watch. All the best. Dave

Anyone seen any market changes now that the new models are closer to arriving? I too have been looking for a 2014-2016 GTS. I'm thinking it might be best to wait for the new ones to hit dealer lots, as low mile GTS's are sure to be traded. Somebody mentioned $60K off MSRP on new ones, earlier in this thread. That seems crazy to me, but would push me to purchase new if I am able to find a deal like that. $15K off MSRP is what I am seeing on new.
