Re: Installation. Check out these threads I started last week when I ordered the pedals. It should help.

Can't wait to see some pics of how these look for everyone. I will not be able to get to these until next weekend - so maybe some tips on what people encountered would be great.

Delivered this AM. Ok, you guys are gonna need to catch up.
Here's what they look like installed; took about a hour. aligning them took the most time.
Here's a tip; use velcro to hold the pedal in place to start the holes. Once you have them started, you can pull off the velcro and finish drilling. Worked like a charm, especially when trying to get the second pedal height lined up with the first

Vi mirror

V1 in back, kinda stealthy

The V1 mirror was offered for a while on a site called beastpower.com (and a couple of others); I picked mine up on e-bay; actually saw one in the last week or so. The V1 is on a 'z' shaped bracket tucked behind the rear seats with the cabling going up front. I made the bracket from aluminum at home depot. I've found that it works just as well as the windshield mounted units from some side-by side testing on some local p-car runs here in north. tx.

quick question - just about to start the install and wanted to know if you guys mounted the steel dead pedal on top of the plastic original one OR if you removed the original plastic one???

i read somewhere about someone removing the original plastic dead pedal but then not being able to drill holes because some bolt was in the way(under the carpet)???

thanks for any help!
