Because of the ecu we're running, Tym was able to put in faster responding 1000cc peak/hold injectors for the combination amongst other things.

Although I'm not that interested in bragging about dyno numbers, we were able to dyno the car in RWD mode on SPI's Dynojet... Tym tuned the car on racegas to 803rwhp/700rwtq @ 1.5 bar. We have agreed that we're more interested in real world numbers so we're going to try to get some driftbox numbers on the car if the weather cooperates.

Here's a copy of the dyno sheet from today... we had a few higher, we had a few lower, but this was one of the cleanest pulls I could show you. The car kept ripping the tires loose on the rollers around 5k.

We're going to back the car down a bit, although the tuning was still on the conservative side... no signs of the heads lifting or other drama. The car is an animal.

Needless to say, I am very very happy!
Holy *********, do they have a kit for this or custom one off? can you PM me what this is costing?

Congrats! Things are looking strong!

1.5 bar on GT3076s on stock internals?! My mouth was hanging open when I read your post. LOL!

Just to let you know, I freaked myself out when I accidentally raised the boost on my 997TT to a "measly" 1.32 bar with my GT3071s on my stock block. I always try to be careful since Im running the stock internals. I try to never run above 1.28-1.29 sustained on race fuel. I run 1 bar of boost on 93 octane around town. Im cognizant
of the fact that fuel may run out at boost levels higher than this...not sure exactly where....so I dont want to take any chances.

However, I believe your air/fuel will be within safe limits at these high boost pressures since you are adding additional fuel. However, what is Tym saying about the stock internals holding up?

Will you be driving the car daily on the street on 93/91 octane? If so, where do you believe you will be dialing in the boost level to? When running race fuel are you planning on running 1.5 bar all the time?

Congrats again! And show us some strong 60-130s! With the 997TT gear ratios.......Start in 3rd - we turned our best times that way. 6.31 was my best running 701 awhp with (.4) 4 tenths of a second delay between shifts.

Keith,
we will probably dial the car back alittle due to stock internals. however, with the new fuel injectors, it is still very rich and conservative. i am sure tym could have easily made more power if he were more agressive with the timing and air/fuel. in fact, we believe that there is still quite a bit more power left in this setup but don't want to lean on it anymore with the stock internals. i will drive it this way for the season and do internals over the winter. we are still not quite sure where we will end up dialing in the car on 93 pump gas, but i think it will be around 1.1 - 1.2 bar which should make over 700 rwhp. on the weekends when i want to have some fun, i will run it on the c16 and most likely run 1.3 - 1.5 bar, depending on who the competition is . i think i will only turn it up on an "as needed" basis as i am in no rush to get my internals done this summer. the weather is crappy this morning so i am not sure if we can get driftbox numbers today, but this car feels like an animal. in fact the first 3 gears are pretty much useless in RWD.

we just made the car RWD for dyno purposes. the 997 turbos will not dyno on an all wheel dynojet. so we had to disconnect the drive shaft. we did drive the car for a short period of time in rwd, but i don't recommend it. the car useless in the first, second, and third gear. i will have the drive shaft put back in and i will be driving the car in awd mode.
