Titanium Wheel Bolts

I am looking into these Titanium wheel bolts made in Italy.
They save .8lbs per wheel. Anyone have any experience with this product?

Here is the product description.
Poggipolini Titanium's beautiful torx head lug bolts are strong, beautiful and light. Poggipolini has provided critical titanium aluminum and multi-phase alloy components to Formula 1 teams for many years. In fact, Poggipolini Titanium has been an official sponsor and technical solution provider to Ferrari F1 since 1988. The bolts feature an independent seat that ensures a perfect fit between the bolt and the wheel. Save weight, and get that incredible Poggipolini Titanium look! A custom adaptor that mates to the bolts for installation is included with this 20-bolt kit. Price: Coming soon.

Got an email reply from the importer.

"Bolt sets for Porsche will be in the $550 range (20 2-piece bolts plus the torx wrench). Production for the 2-piece Porsche wheel bolts is scheduled for mid- late-February. However, I'm bringing a few sets of Porsche bolts with the Ferrari set within 2 weeks for some customers who wanted to get something sooner."

I don't want to get in trouble with the Admins but I'll bet we could get a better price than that with 5-10 pre-orders.

I was surprised this did not draw more attention. Perhaps it was because they are a relatively expensive upgrade or because this thread got lost in the daily flush of read articles and was not noticed because it is in the Wheels thread.

I hate the look of my wheel bolts and in the era of $150 gas caps and $2000 carbon fiber pieces, I think $500 to add a trick piece that can actually be seen and lose almost a pound of rotational weight on each wheels is not unreasonable.

Anyways, I am pursuing these wheel bolts, if you are interested in what I find, send me a PM.

Spent $2500 on a steering wheel, why not $500 for lug bolts?

Count me in.
