Light bulb warning light suggestions

Hi,
I have a warning light on my cluster letting me know there is a bulb problem on my 05 CGT. I scanned the car with VCDS and the attached photo shows the result. I cleared the code and the light goes off. As soon as I touch the brake pedal it pops back on. I have disconnected and reconnected anything I could on the lights, still get the same warning light. Both rear lights are working as they should.
Anyone have any suggestions on what I should look at or try next to keep the warning light from coming on?

Thanks.
Paul

Hello Paul,

For each taillight there is a ground wire and stud on the body right below the taillights, brown wire, remove and clean them, make sure they are snug, also check the pins and plugs for corrosion, clean them with some electrical cleaner, is your 3rd brake light working ?

Thanks Johnny I will give that a try. Yes the third brake light works fine.

Hi Jim,
I cleaned the connections and made sure everything was tight. I have not yet removed the grounds and given them a good cleaning. So far the issue isn't resolved.
