Worth getting High Mileage 997 GT2?
Hey everyone,
New to the forums and looking for advice and help. I have been offered a 2009 Club Sport 997 GT2 with 100 thousand KM on the odometer for 110K USD Euro Spec.
What do you guys think? Should I get this and keep it in storage for a couple of years and resale for a better price or should I make it a daily driver and run the hell out of it?
Thanks

buy it and enjoy it, that's a great deal for a GT2.

Way beyond the point of an investment..that blew by 100k miles ago..If its in good shape, buy it and drive it as much as humanly possible. Might as well see how many miles you can take it.....

PCCBs aren't a big deal. If they are anything other than as smooth as a new born baby's bottom, they are too worn. I have seen a lot of people peddling worn discs and representing them as fine- not so. However you can replace the discs with steel ones for reasonable money. Get a good PPI and if the brakes are anything less than perfect see if you can discount the price of replacement rotors.
Either way, BUY IT! Nothing like a GT2.

The mileage doesn’t mean much if has been taken care of.
The GT2 is a rare bird.Down the road as well as now you get to own and drive something special. The guy who dies with the most mileage wins!Look what what restored Porsches go for from the 1970’s
