Tire choices for 19" rims
I'm running 19" on my 996TT and am in need of new tires. The preferred tires sizes of 235/35/19 and 315/25/19 (tire track) are only available in Toyo T1R and Nitto Invo (1010 Tires).
I know the sizing has been discussed to death, but are there any other brands that carry these sizes?

Another member (brnrdtns) was successful importing a new Continental in these sizes. I'm gonna go the same route for my 19's.
If I remember correctly, look up thread " 315/25/19 continental sportcontact 6 import from UK " .

I was playing around with the tire calc to see what sizes keep within the limits of the VC, and found this (brace yourself...):
245/40R19: OD 26.72" | Sidewall 3.86" | 13.36" Radius | 778.54 Rev/mile
325/30R19: OD 26.68" | Sidewall 3.84" | 13.34" Radius | 779.69 Rev/mile
I know, I know... ridiculously huge but boy does it satisfy the OCD just seeing a measly 1.15 rev per mile difference front to back, and in the right direction even! The fronts are taller by 0.04 inches.
Plus, hello PSS, PS2, PS4 and more all readily available in those sizes.
Any way these could fit with offset/spacer manipulation, and maybe a little fender lining reshaping on a stock suspension? Or is this way beyond that - like fender rolling and other more inva$ive mods?
But most importantly, performance. Even if they could be made to fit, would it be just too much mass and end up being a drag on the acceleration and handling?

for guys running 19s, if you want the closed ratio you can fit easily run this setup
245/35/19
295/30/19
many guys run 305/30/19 with no issues as well.

I did finally get a reply from the company in the UK. But still not able to close the deal as they are very slow to respond. The price quoted is good but uncertain on how much the import duty and import tax will be. I will keep you posted on how this plays out. Personally I would go the 305/30/19 route. Or avoid the 19's totally.

It's in Germany actually, no import taxes. It takes a bit. You email them in the afternoon, which is night time for them, so you wait all night, and maybe they get to it the next day. They take your order and get the shipping quote the next day, and email you ect... It is a pain.

It should be pretty soon. I'm waiting on 1 more part to finish my car.

I replied to his email within 5 minutes of it's arrival. So the middle of the night thing is not the real issue.
As for the taxes here it what was in my quote: "Hereis our offer in euros (EUR), net, DAP Alexandria, USA excluding local taxes& duties. The price include the tyre price and all delivery costs byairfreight from Germany to the USA. However, the prices exclude local taxes& duties, which will be your responsibility."
Having imported parts before I have been hit with the taxes and tariff's. I'm just not sure how they will be this time.
