Awesome! Sounds like it should be a pretty sweet setup. Any frontal shots of your home? Very interesting architecture indeed.

Will the garage have a basement (enter up by the three car) or will it be on the lower level? Magnificient home.

The garage will have three levels. The lower level is a play room that will be off a soon to come pool and patio. The main level is the garage and the top level is a adult play room or office.

It's pretty much a work in progress and I'm looking for ideas to make the garage (car) level a fun room.....

Here's a pict of the front of the house... not so good but you get an idea.
When I bought this house there was 3' of trash through out it. I spent untold $$$'s to restore it.

I'm in Minnetonka, a suburb of Minneapolis.

Here's a oblique view from 2500'

Our company makes the cameras used to take these picts.

The Cedar roof was new this spring. You can see the neighbors roof in progress.

(I'm having trouble uploading pictures. They are under the size limit but rarely seem to upload..... Any advise ?)

Cheers

Dave - that's a sweet neighborhood. Close those roads, put up some grandstands and have a mini roadrace!

Congrats again.

We just put a cedar roof on a beach house we built for a client, and we used stone and cedar shake on the walls, but we accented the roof with copper flashing and flats. You should consider adding copper accents to the new garage structure.
