Sad News about OUR ben lj, Ben Keatons.......
I just received a call from Michelle at Cargraphics, and was shocked to hear that our valued 6speedonline member and friend ben lj, passed away today during some track event. Ben made some posts today, and I still can't believe it.
I am a bit out of reality now, and just want to say that our prayers are with your spirit, Ben, and your family. You contributed to our forum for years, and became a member of our family...I deeply am sorry for this loss.
Just dont know what to say..

My God, I'm absolutely stunned! When I read the news, I was almost numb. I spoke to Ben on a few occassions and enjoyed many "back and forth" exchanges with him on this forum - always in fun. My thoughts and prayers also go out to his family.

Wow, I had to read this 5 times before it sank in . I still can't believe it - I'm in shock. I'll keep his family in my prayers, what a tragedy. Chatted with several times and he struck me as a genuine and kind person.

Ben was a wonderful guy. One of the nicest guys I have ever met. Though we didn't agree on everything, it was all in good fun. I cherish the moments that we spent in La Jolla hanging out and driving around in his car.
I'm just shocked and horrified to hear this news.

This is a sad day indeed. Ben was not only a great contributor to this forum, but also an honorable man, and he will be missed by many. My deepest condolences to his family and friends, all of whom are in our collective thoughts and prayers.

He was a true class act, avid enthusiast, family man and one who was always so generous as to allow us mere mortals to vicariously live through his super car experiences. Rest in peace Ben...
