i agree with taking out the Veyron and replacing it with something else. Porsche would be the natural choice - this did start out as a P-car forum, didn't it? but if that's a legal issue (that seems like a weak case, though), then maybe a Ferrari would work. it's something else that's high-end, but that are fairly "common" for the members here.
I don't know if it's all THAT different. a few color changes and some pics in slightly different locations ... not that much different. Now if you want to change it so its more basic, that would be nice. Kind of like Google - ie less is more. Loads faster, looks cleaner, etc. Is there an option to set up the site like the way a user would like it? I might like a cleaner and more spartan design while someone else likes all the things going on like this site already has - we should be able to pick our own way to view this site. Now THAT would be a change!!!!! Maybe some tits and **s; ahhhhh, but I digress.
Incidentally, I can't understand why Porsche would/could sue you. Their cars are not copyrighted. You could use the pics that people have taken on there own to use as the "pic" for the site. In fact, why not have a poll every month of someones car to use as the pic for a week or a month and then we all pick the pic. That would be kind of fun too.
I really dont car to be honest. I think the forum is all about the people on it. I will never leave my 997 guys. Tried once before with Rennlist. Its not the same. BTW Adrian...........Interesting that Admin is asking this time instead of just doing it. The backlash was brutal last time. Thats OK, its all good. Just make sure the squeeze warrants the amount of juice
