Super Car Sunday shut down today,possibly for good
Went to Super car Sunday today 9/27/09 to hook up with some 6speeders only to be told by a group of people representing the prop management co ,they had hired security with them and LAPD escorts and taking pics of all the cars ,telling everyone they had to leave or they would be given restraining orders,they said not to come back next week.Hopefully they can work something out as this is a great event.Not sure how they could enforce this anyway ,the coffee shops where all up in arms about it as they weren't even notified of the situation.

Yeah hey V35 not sure i met you sunday but i did see your car parked next to Bruce in the black conv Turbo do you no him ,we can hook up next time there's always a meet somewhere stay posted, or maybe we'll see each other rolling around town.

Update ,we took a cruise by here today 10/4/09 on our way out to Malibu canyon on a run with the boys, there was about half dozen cop cars and one Ferrari place was empty it's a bummer as this was a great meeting place,hopefully the ban won't last.

I dunno if it is banned for good, the Sunday I recently went to had many, many cars there. But alot of the drivers were spending $ at the local shops - I went to 3 of them myself. I think that some of the shops were annoyed that parking was taken up by so many of us, and that left hardly any for "regular" customers. But most shops were not open while I was there..???
We'll see what happens on the next Super Sunday 10/25. I'd rather meet up with some pcar (and actually anyone else) drivers and drive some canyons, maybe get a bite to eat, etc. - than sit at the parking lot checking out cars. Just my 2 cents.

So, let me get this straight . . . I can no longer patronize the shops and stores at this center . . . curious way to make a living in these times . . . see you Sunday the 25th, at least for a drive by . . .
