Thought it would be good to add this DIY I just wrote on Spark Plug and Coil change for 997.1 TT.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK....Figured I better try to knock out a DIY soon, before I started forgetting
So I spent a great deal of time trying to illustrate and use photos and text to guide anyone that wants to try it.
CAVEAT : This is how I DID IT...and it worked. If you have a better way...Knock yourself out...This is in the spirit of helping others, not to debate the best way or what I did different or wrong.....
Too big for me to upload here apparently... About 4.5 MB .pdf, so get it here:

Hope this helps!

@hammy....
I think the 94R/H7 is what you want, it should be a direct fit for a 997.2 with an OEM battery # 996.611.080.00
There are plenty of DIY's on changing the battery on the forums, so I'll leave that...
When we recently replaced the battery on our 2010 C2S I used a NAPA 8449 which is larger than OE and is the same size as Interstate's 49/H8 (length = 13.9"). The battery tray accomodates it no problem (...it would fit even larger) but to use anything larger than OE size (~ 12.4" long) you need to relocate the hold-down. Not difficult, but also not necessary if you use the OE size.
Hope that helps,

This is very impressive. I am a huge DIYer
and cant believe you guys have compiled this many tasks. Big props!
This section definitely encourages me to buy a turbo, sooner rather than later.
