As the title states: I'm signed up for the Miami Mile in October and need some help from people who have done events like this in the past. This will be my 1st time with this. I am stoked to say the least!
Safety gear: what the heck should I get. Already have a helmet, but should I wear a single/double layer race jacket and some gloves? Thinking about jeans and sneaks/low boots for the bottom half.
Also a fire extinguisher mounted inside the car of course.
Thanks for any advice/help.

Be sure to scrutinize your tires; go over them part by part The last thing you want is your tire coming apart at 200mph. Make sure they have no rocks, nails, deformations or anything of the like in them.
