98-04 Porsche 911 or 07-09 Jaguar XK?
I'm selling my Shelby and looking at some entry level European cars to buy with my cash.
I am partial to the 996 Porsche, but cannot spend the money on a turbo car.
I also like the new design of the 07-up Jaguar XK's, but am not sure on reliability.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Gino

Have you driven both? I'd get whatever you like more. Personally, I'd get a 996. The Jag looks nice, but I suspect it may cost more in depreciation as well as maintenance. With the 996, just get one that's had the IMS bearing done or plan on doing it when you do the clutch.

Owned both, XK's are on the floor in depreciation as well as the 996.
If you are NOT traking it loo at a 07 - 08 xk.
If you do DE's then 02 or newer 996 with a new engine or IMS upgrade.
Long distance drives regularly, Jag.
