Haven’t you Rolex guys learned by now that 98% of what comes out of your AD’s mouth is pure bull $hit? Now granted, I’m sure that some owners/gm’s of the AD that you use know what is up, but a majority of the sales people at Rolex AD don’t know their @ss from their elbow.
I agree, it is time Rolex introduces some larger models, like they did last year with the new YM. However until I see some pics or get some news out of next months SIHH show in Basel, I don’t believe it. Rolex is so tight lipped about what they will produce in the future and more often than not most people don’t find anything out until the Basel show. Sit tight till April, then we should definitely know more.
Lastly, there is NO WAY the current Daytona goes down in value. If anything most Rolex collectors will see added value in it since it may be a discontinued piece. I’m glad I got mine
the oversize look is a fadand played out. imho it looks goofy and ghey. hey look at me I have wimpy skinny wrists but my watch is big! and my dick is small. hahahah

Big is definitly in right now, and it should stick around for a while. But anything over 44mm IMO, is not going to hold it's value. As is, I've heard that Panerai sells are slowing substantially from where they have been over the past few years.

I will definitely agree that pieces over 45mm (especially those pushing 50mm) will have resale issues in the future, but I don't think going up to 42mm is ridiculous at all. I think 42-3mm is the perfect size for my wrist.
Not everybody looks like they've got a chrome tuna can strapped to their wrist when they put on a watch over 40mm
