Corum Ti Bridge

I know most people seem not to like Corum, but I was flipping through some watch magazines and saw Corum's new watch the Ti Bridge. It uses their 2nd in-house movement similar to the Golden Bridge. I inquired about it at a couple places in Chicago, no one really knows about it since they haven't been alotted one yet.

I have been to Lampert Jewelers on Oak Street and know they sell Corum. My friend collects Corum watches and buys all of his from them. He has said very good things about them.

Alevine, thanks for the heads up. I think they are listed on the Corum website as an agent. I'll have to give them a call. I tried C.D. Pea**** (I bought 2 watches from them previously) and Tourneau. Both sell Corum, neither really knew much about the Ti Bridge. They said they would check to see if they were going to be alotted one, but have not heard back from either yet. Is this something that would be pretty hard to get? I know it was shown at Basel earlier this year and that there are limited to 750 pieces. I have watches with "limited" production runs per year Panerai, IWC, Kobold (among others), but not one that has a limited run like the Ti Bridge.

If the Ti Bridge ends up being too hard for me to get, does anyone have any recommendations on another watch the has a skeletonized face that can be used as a "formal wear" watch (would this even be considered formal) around the same price or less? Most of my watches I have I don't consider as formal wear watches.

Does anyone know how much negotiation in price the dealers are willing to do on a limited production piece? I see that normal production watches can be had for 30-35% off of retail prices, but what about limited watches, especially if I'm a repeat customer?
