Its been a while since I have been commissioned to do a reproduction. My client and his future wife really loved this design, and it was very important to make sure that I met their high expectations. I made this for a 6Speed member that just happened to live not far from me, I only do about 30% local work so being able to meet clients face to face is a treat, especially when they are from the 6Speed family. The center stone was a beautiful cushion cut, and I put about .50 carat of rounds in the band of the ring.

Jason made this Novo reproduction for me. My fiance, Sheilah's grandfather was a jewelry designer who did work for Tiffany. She knows what she wants and readily recognizes quality jewelry when she sees it. She fell in love with the Novo and wanted it for her engagement ring. Being an impoverished government employee, I don't roll like some of you guys, so I had to find a way to make her dream come true while avoiding the "because we're Tiffany, that's why" markup. I'd seen Jason's beautiful work on theSix before, so I contacted him to see if he could help me.
We were immediately impressed by Jason's outstanding customer service. He personally met with us, asked great questions and made copious notes to ensure that the final piece was exactly what we wanted. Jason took a great amount of time to explain metals, jewelry making, CAD renderings, castings, the polishing and assembly process, etc. When we left our first meeting, we were absolutely confident that choosing Jason was the right decision.
We were not disappointed.
I wanted to be certain that all of Sheilah's expectations would be met, so I continuously peppered poor Jason with emails and phone calls. He continued to be a cheerful, patient, absolute gentleman throughout the process. If my never ending stream of communications ever annoyed him, he certainly never let it show.
Yesterday, Jason finished the work on Sheilah's ring and I met him to pick it up. It is stunning. Last night I proposed and Sheilah couldn't be happier with her engagement ring. We are both truly impressed.
Jason, I will be in touch shortly to commission Sheilah's wedding band (I promise to give you adequate lead time this time).
