Any Info on Torneau Watches

I was at the mall the other day while vacationing and went into a Torneau store for the first time. They had a decent collection and the salesman was pointing me towards the Torneau watches. I know, bug surprise. I liked the style of some of them and they looked like a nice, heavy watch. Are they well made, decent watches? Is there interest in them like Rolex, Panerai, etc.? Do they maintain any resale value? Any comments would be appreciated.

BTW, I was looking at the Gotham series.

Thanks,
Adam

decent yes, along the lines of Hamilton... but good no, not the same class as pam, folex, omega, eble etc.

Personally I thought they felt cheap when I tried them on and would rahter have a hamilton or many other entry high end watches.

I've never seen much interest in Tourneau on the used market. If you really like the watch and don't plan to sell it, then why not? If you can find something similar from a better known brand, I'd go with that instead.
