With gas so cheap, I decided to road trip the M5 from LA to SF. Big mistake. I hit a sandstorm and my whole car got sandblasted. So pissed. The paint on the car looks okay (some chips), but most of the painted grills were sandblasted back to chrome. The worst part is my windshield has a million chips in it from the sand.
Anything they can do to the windshield that will make it look better?
I feel sorry for the white RR Phantom that drove through with me.

that sucks..there is no place to hide out there either...the wind was real strong today..even had a small cyclonic event in the valley with horizontal rain...don't see that often in California...hope a good detail is all you need...
I recently took a trip from Norcal to Socal and experienced the same thing..... just awful. I really enjoy the drive too but it's so ruff on the car!
