HRE Rims How do I find the offset and width?

I have a set of HRE wheels that came with the car. It was for a 997 Turbo. I want to know how do I find the actual width and offset without unmounting the tires. The rear rim is 12" total from outside rim edge to rim egde, is that a 11 or 11.5" rim? I didn't see any offset marking on the rim either. I want to buy a 12.5" wide rim but would not want the outside edge to extend further than what it is right now. Thanks for any help.

There are serial numbers on the back of the wheel at the hub. Write it down, call HRE and they will give you the info you need.

you only need the number off of one front and one rear...both fronts and both rears should be the same width and offset

actually you should only need one of the 5 digit numbers off any wheel....if they were made as a set, the 5 digit WO number should be the same.

PM me the info.

PM me the info and I'll either decipher the descriptive part number or you can just give me the 5 digit order number also engraved on the wheel and I can look it up for you.

Alan
