Carrera S rear lip..

to all our wheel eexperts out there, i was told that the maximum lip i can get on my rear wheels for the CARRERA S is 2.5".. is that true?

what is the maximum rear lip i can have from a 19" wheel on a narrow body 997 C2S?

thanks.. and picture would be great!!

Depends on the wheel, look at the different vendors.

It is a function of the curvature (or lack thereof) of the center. "Normal" curvature (relatively flat) is about a 2.5 to 3 inch lip in the rear. If the center is curved in a highly convex way, you can get more than 4 inches of lip.
This simply depends on what you think about convex centers from a styling perspective.

5'' lip on a 20'' rim for a 997, now thats baller.

The 'Messina' rim would really suit the Porsche.
