2018 McLaren 570GT Cabbeen Collection

Now, before you go searching for your wallet, do note that the use of the word “collection” in the car’s name does not suggest there are multiple editions out there. Quite the contrary: This special edition features just one model. The use of the word is likely due to the car having been developed with Chinese fashion designer Ziming Yang, also referred to as “Mr. Cabbeen”. So “collection” is being used here due to the car’s ties to the fashion world.

2. Black and gold, black and gold, black and gold

The one thing that is instantly recognizable about the 570GT Cabbeen Collection is its color scheme: The car’s black paint is nicely complemented by gold wheels, gold brake calipers and gold dragons painted in the intake scallops.

3. Attractive Interior

Take a look inside and you’ll see no corner was neglected. The theme continues nicely in the cabin, with gold dragons embroidered into the center tunnel and the cargo area. These symbols are done in an embroidery style specific to China known as Chao. They were put in by the Director of the Professional Embroidery Committee of China's Arts and Crafts Institute.

4. McLaren Power

The 570GT Cabbeen Collection can still tear up the road. The McLaren's twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V-8 engine packs 562 hp and 443 lb-ft of torque. And the system is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission.

5. Availability

Although the car’s design is specific to China, the 570GT Cabbeen Collection will be available globally. However, if you are looking to add one to your garage, act fast: Only five will be produced. Pricing is not available, but given the fact that the Black Collection GTs start at $251,000 and only 100 were made, these 5 limited edition 570GT Cabbeens will likely cost much, much more.
