Here’s the thing with this car. It’s beautiful, brilliant, and has been completely sold out since December of last year. That’s right, Porsche found each 918 Spyder a home within a few months of the almost million dollar hypercar going on sale. This means, you can’t buy a new one anymore, or maybe you can.

According to DuPont Registry, this Acid Green Porsche 918 Spyder is only two 918s ever built in this configuration, and in this color. And it’s the only one currently residing in the United States. That makes this already ultra-rare hypercar, just that much more rare.

Oh yeah, not only is it a one of one here in the U.S., but the car has unbelievably low mileage. And no, we aren’t talking about a few thousand, we’re talking about a few miles total. The listing shows this Porsche 918 Spyder having only 8.3 miles on the odometer, meaning you’re essentially getting a brand new car.

Now here comes the un-fun part. While this car is essentially brand new, the price has jumped a bit. Gone are the days of this car costing $847,000, and in come the days of it now being sold for $2.9 million. That’s a hell of a jump for only a year of being on the market.
